“Believe in Yourself”, how often are we advised to do that and yet life is designed to learn by your mistakes.
At first this seems a tough paradox to get your ego around and then you get to the deeper meaning of believing in yourself and in your dream as you make the mistakes, as you try new things, as you grow and acknowledge that you’re getting closer to your dream irrespective of what the world wants to tell you.
And sometimes the feedback from out there is just so challenging.
It’s easy to doubt yourself, to reel from the outcome of your choices.
If your intention is in the right place, if your dream is big enough, if your ‘Why’ is big enough, then believe in yourself, irrespective of the non-believers.
This is your journey and many times you will find yourself alone.
The naysayers won’t be there to pick you up after you took their advice, so you may as well fail spectacularly of your own accord, while having fun, with a life changing lesson dressed up with ribbon in the middle of it.
I have this quote on most of my profiles:
“Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen”
– Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Today I was reminded of the power of self-belief and it kind of shifted things to another level for me.
I’m not one who’s had too much of it lately 🙂
Things are changing. I have only one life and I’m going to be the only person with me all ways to the end.
If I can’t believe in me who can I believe in? 🙂
