To continue with the tips, NLP based suggestions and to include a bit of fun this page will be the place holder over the next 12 days.
Here’s day 1 and it’s a vlog with real snow… Oh turn up the volume 🙂 Sorry about that!
Teach yourself to change your thoughts this Christmas. When you are feeling challenged or you are in a flow putting yourself or others down choose to change your thoughts first of all by checking in on how you feel.
If you are feeling pretty grim have a think about something general that’s related to what caused the feeling or even just think about something you feel good about so you move yourself out of that negative pattern you have going.
And when you do go back to it choose to feel and think differently. Choose a different approach. look for the positive. You may be snowed in and just think of the things you can catch up on around your home. Be appreciative that you are not out in the cols stuck at the side of the road. You may be appreciative that you are warm and you can snuggle up with a hot drink. Look for the good. look for the positive lesson. Look for what you want and focus on that.
I know sometimes it can be tough to go from a really bad mood to somewhere positive so just look for the relief. Move a little out of where you are in terms of mood. Even if it is from anger to frustration, and then go a little further and move to a more positive mood again. It’s something you can practice that will not only change Christmas, it can change your life.

Day 2 – Overcoming Loneliness at Christmas
In 12 TIPS FOR A PEACEFUL CHRISTMAS 2015 – Day 2 I cover loneliness, one of things that seems to get a lot of single people down at Christmas.
I share what I have done to get through Christmas on my own and I talk about reframing – changing your thoughts to create a better outcome of the same situation.
I hope this adds value. Oh turn up the volume!!
I will get this sorted 🙂
Here’s the video…
There are always other choices when it comes to how we spend out time or how we feel about how we spend out time.
Learning the skill of changing your mind so that you can enjoy or find the good feelings about what you are doing by reframing is one of the biggest gifts i have learned and am mastering this year.
And I invite you to give it a try.
Have a great rest of your day.
See you tomorrow,
Love and magic,
